4pm:  It's been snowing for most of the day with the snow level fluctuating between 7000 and 8000 ft. We have received a solid 5" of wet snow at the Notch that will make for an excellent base. The forecast calls for more storm cells to move through this afternoon before a mellow night and then more snow tomorrow with the snow level dropping. There are some pretty ambitious forecasts out there calling for up to 4 feet at higher elevations. At this point we are just thankful for what we are getting and watching closely. We hope to be making the call as to when we will be able to open after we see what tomorrows system brings. Stay tuned for storm totals and operation status here.
