Today on the mountain

Robby · Sample report

Six inches of fresh snow fell overnight! Chairs 1 and 2 start spinning at 8:30 AM. Chair 3 opens around 10 AM once ski patrol finishes up top.

Chair 4 on the sunny side still needs more snow before it can open.

Chains are required on Mt Baldy Road past the village, so bring them. Come early: parking fills fast on powder days.

Bluebird skies and warm afternoons up top. Chair 1 is running scenic rides to Top of the Notch, and Chair 4 is open for easy access to the Devil's Backbone Trail.

The kitchen at the Notch opens at 11 AM. Bring layers: it's always cooler at 7,800 feet.
