A four-part series of mountain races and climbs: Run to the Top, the Cirque Series, Climb for Heroes and the Mt Baldy 5000.
Every race finishes high on Baldy. Racers can ride Chair 1 back down with a downhill ticket, and everyone riding the lift needs a current season waiver.
7+ miles and almost 4,000 feet from the base to the 10,064-foot summit.
9.1 miles and 3,926 feet: Devil's Backbone, the summit, Baldy Bowl and back.
A family-friendly climb for injured veterans, then an after party up top.
A 5K from 6,400 to 7,800 feet, with BBQ and live music at the finish.
A 7+ mile footrace with almost 4,000 feet of climbing. It starts at about 6,300 feet with a quad-trashing 3/10 mile downhill, then kicks up to relentless grades of up to 30 percent, with some hands-on rock scrambling, all the way to the summit of Mt Baldy (officially Mt San Antonio) at 10,064 feet.
Organized by the San Antonio Town Hall. Registration and race details are on the official race site.

9.1 miles and 3,926 feet of vertical on a true cirque loop: ridge, summit, bowl, forest and mountain road. The first Cirque Series race at Mt Baldy ran October 3, 2026.
From the ski area parking lot at 6,400 feet, runners climb the service roads to the Notch, cross the exposed Devil's Backbone ridge and push to the summit of Mt San Antonio at 10,064 feet. The course drops through Baldy Bowl past the Sierra Club Ski Hut, climbs once more to Manker Cutoff, then races back down to the parking lot.

A non-competitive day hike open to every fitness level and age. Kids and friendly, well-behaved dogs are welcome. Hike with friends and family, form a team or come solo, and raise money and awareness for the mental and physical health of injured veterans.
Then stay for the after party at Top of the Notch with live music, food, cold beers and the best views in the valley. Registered participants can buy a half-price downhill ticket ahead of time.
Mt Baldy teamed up with REI, Trails of Miles and HOKA on a 5K that tests the hardiest runners and welcomes the ones who like to take their time. It's for every level, but it's no cake walk: the course starts at 6,400 feet and finishes at 7,800 at Top of the Notch.
At the finish, the Notch serves its famous tri-tip and BBQ chicken from our Moonlight Hikes, with live roots Americana from the Claremont Voodoo Society. The next date will be posted here.

Stay up top at Camp Baldy, or ride up to Top of the Notch for lunch and a cold one after you finish.
