After a 15 minute ride on the Sugar Pine Chair lift #1, guests arrive to the Top of the Notch Restaurant at an elevation of 7,800 ft. With a rich history beginning in the 1950s, the Top of the Notch provides a unique dining experience, overlooking Southern California. Guests from San Bernardino, Los Angeles and San Diego Counties along with others enjoy excellent food and craft beers at the Notch, while experiencing all that the Angeles National Forest has to offer.
Our kitchen serves:
- Breakfast: 8am to 11am
A hearty continental breakfast with eggs, potatoes, biscuits & gravy and fresh fruit.
- Lunch: 11am to 5pm
A traditional Americana cuisine featuring gourmet burgers, sandwiches and salads.
A Prix Fixe menu is served at 7pm for tent cabin guests as well as many other special engagements like Moonlight Hikes & Sunset Dinners.
To compliment our meal options we serve a robust selection of craft brews from some of the areas fines breweries, red & white wines, soft drinks, coffee & hot chocolate.
